Police blog threatens revenge on students

“I have a complaint about the Police violence: It’s not violent enough by a long way. Use Donk (Baton) guns on the rioting yobs.”

This is just one of the quotes from the Inspector Gadget police blog, which provides a forum for anonymous police officers to say what they really think about protesters.

Comments by police officers make clear that these are not ordinary public sector workers. In fact, many are brutal thugs who got into the business to rough people up.

One poster, Spartan Cop, refers to his regional police force, West Midlands as a “my own mob.”

A post about REVOLUTION and National Campaign Against Fees and Cuts member Simon Hardy, who called for self defence against police violence drew particular hatred, attracting even more comments than a post on cop-killer Raul Moat. Posters suggested ways that they could physically assault Simon without breaking the law, whilst another said he’d like to stub out a flare in Simon’s eyes.

The police remain a law unto themselves in a literal sense. They are not there to protect us, they are there to crush our movement by force – and to stop that happening, organising self-defence is the only way forward.
