The government is considering using chemical weapons against ‘rioters’. The ‘nerve agents’ go beyond the limited use of tear gas and pepper spray.

The police may soon be able to use these weapons on our streets.

A group of high-level experts have asked the government to clarify what their position on using ‘nerve agents’ is.

Poisoning by a nerve agent leads to contraction of pupils, profuse salivation, convulsions, involuntary urination and defecation, and eventual death by asphyxiation as you lose control of your breathing.

The group of experts discovered that the government are preparing to use a loophole in the Chemical Weapons Convention which would allow them to use these chemicals for ‘domestic law enforcement’.

Nerve agents are classified as weapons of mass destruction by the UN. Then again the UN has also ruled that Israel’s occupation of Palestine is illegal, and passed hundreds of resolutions to that effect. They aren’t interested in protecting us.

The government should not be allowed to use such deadly chemicals in any situation. The police are never held to account for the murders they commit in the interests of defending their masters.

Britain is a major supplier of chemical weapons and nerve agents to many of the dictatorships facing revolt and revolution in the Middle East. The government has obviously decided that where shallow ‘Big Society’ propaganda fails, plastic bullets and nerve gas will finish the job.

The police are the biggest, most dangerous gang on our streets, and it’s the government who they’re paid to protect – not us.

We call for the disarming and disbanding of the paid agents of the bosses’ state.

We are for the democratic, collective self-defence of our communities.
